Ogilvy Government Relations is pleased to announce the promotion of Alissa Clees from senior associate to principal at the bipartisan government relations firm.
A former staffer for Senator Ben Nelson of Nebraska and employee of the Phoenix Suns and Arizona Diamondbacks, Clees has been an integral part of the Ogilvy team since 2012. She provides clients with critical support on policy, organizes Capitol Hill fly-ins for major trade associations, and manages the firm’s social media initiatives. Clees also serves on the board of the Jenkins Hill Society, a unique women’s fundraising group in Washington supporting Democratic women in Congress.
“Alissa has been an indispensable member of the Ogilvy team, delivering for our clients across the board, and we are excited to have her take those talents to the next level,” said Karissa Willhite, Ogilvy Principal. “I’ve seen her commitment both professionally at Ogilvy and personally in our work together on the board of the Jenkins Hill Society. I look forward to continuing to partner with her as she tackles this well-deserved new role.”
At Ogilvy, Clees works on a wide range of the firm’s clients, including the Recording Industry Association of America, Verizon, and Nike, Inc.
“Alissa’s promotion is well-earned and reflects her commitment to delivering results for our clients,” said Chris Giblin, Ogilvy Principal. “Her star continues to grow bigger and brighter.”
