Challenge
When the COVID-19 pandemic completely absorbed the world in 2020, OGR went to work for a client seeking approval at the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for a technology to decontaminate N95 masks after initial usage.
Strategy
OGR targeted and educated a senior member of Congress whose Congressional district had many constituents employed by this client. Additionally, OGR engaged executive branch officials involved in “Operation Warp Speed.”
Results
Strategic collaboration and timely engagement with the FDA led to approval of an N95 mask decontaminating technology at a time the United States was dealing with a supply shortage.
